STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford senior Jack Ryan and his coach Patrick Jeffrey earned top honors from the Atlantic Coast Conference on Thursday.
Ryan was named ACC Men’s Diver of the Year and Jeffrey was named ACC Men’s Diving Coach of the Year.
Ryan earned two top-three places at the NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships under Jeffrey, who also coached all three of his men’s divers to nationals. Ryan placed second in the 1-meter with 417.45 points and was third in the 3-meter with 457.90.
At the ACC Championships, Ryan was first in the 1-meter at 411.95, coming from behind on his last dive to win. He also was fourth in the 3-meter at 394.65. Ryan was the NCAA Zone E champion in 3-meter and second at 1-meter.
The ACC honor is the second consecutive conference diver of the year honor for Ryan, who was named Pac-12 Men’s Diver of the Year in 2024.
In addition to Ryan, Jeffrey coached Misha Andriyuk and Hunter Hollenbeck into the NCAA Championships. Andriyuk made the NCAA final in platform diving, and also compete in the 1-meter, and Hollenbeck was 36 at 3-meters.
Andriyuk was second in the ACC on the platform and qualified fourth for the final at NCAA’s. He was the NCAA Zone E platform champion, with 422.45 points.
This is the fifth conference Diving Coach of the Year honor for Jeffrey, who just completed his 11th season.
