STANFORD, Calif. – No. 4 Stanford made quick work of San Francisco, sweeping the Dons, 5-0, Wednesday, at Stanford Beach Volleyball Stadium.
Stanford improves to 17-6 overall, while San Francisco drops to 7-18.
All five Cardinal pairs won in straight sets on Wednesday as Stanford picked up its 12th 5-0 sweep of the season. Stanford's No. 1 pair of Ruby Sorra and Taylor Wilson clinched the win in dominating fashion, allowing USF to score just 22 points total.
The Cardinal hits the road this weekend, traveling to Laguna Beach for the Best in the West Tournament, April 4-5. No. 4 Stanford will face No. 7 USC, No. 11 Long Beach State, No. 16 North Florida, and No. 19 Washington.
