  • No. 3 Stanford celebrated its outstanding senior class with four wins over No. 9 California (4-1), No. 19 Washington (5-0), Santa Clara (5-0) and UC Davis (4-1) April 18-19 at Stanford Beach Volleyball Stadium. The Cardinal improved to 27-8 heading into postseason play, boasting an impressive 15 wins over top-20 opponents. 
  • Senior Taylor Wilson and sophomore Ruby Sorra continue to grow their school-record career pairs win record, currently sitting with 40 wins as a duo. Through 19 matches played together this season, the pair has 15 wins bolstered by a 6-3 record at the ones and a 9-1 record at the twos. 
  • With four wins over the weekend, Wilson moved into Stanford's top-three rankings for career individual wins. The Santa Barbara, Calif. native holds 84 career victories, tied for third-best in program history. After Stanford's final weekend of regular season action, junior Kelly Belardi is tied with '23 graduate Charlie Ekstrom for fifth-most wins all time with 82 career victories, while fifth-year Emmy Sharp is seventh all-time with 80 career wins.  The Cardinal's record for wins in a career is 97, set by Kate Reilly last season. 
  • When it comes to single-season individual wins, three Cardinal are inching closer to bettering their own marks in Stanford's record books. With 26 wins apiece, both Belardi and junior Chloe Hoffman look to best their 28 wins earned in 2024 (tied for the third-most in a single season in program history) in the final matches of the 2025 season. Wilson, who sits with 24 wins on the season, looks to top her career-best 25 wins in a single season in postseason action. Eight members of the Stanford program have totaled more than 20 wins this season:
  • In seven of eight losses this season, Stanford's ones pair's result has mirrored the overall match decision. The Cardinal has only lost once when Stanford's ones pair has won-- the first match of the 2025 season, a 3-2 loss to then-No. 7 LMU. 
  • The Cardinal wraps up its 2025 campaign at the NCAA Championship in Gulf Shores, Ala. May 2-4. Stanford looks to qualify for the tournament for the fifth consecutive season with an automatic bid (league championship winner) or as an at-large selection.
