Men's Basketball Lands Nine on ACC All-Academic Team

Stanford's nine honorees led the Atlantic Coast Conference

STANFORD, Calif. — After a 21-win campaign in Stanford's first year in the Atlantic Coast Conference, and the first season under Anne and Tony Joseph Director of Men's Basketball Kyle Smith, the ACC has announced nine men's basketball student-athletes on the ACC All-Academic Team.

The nine student-athletes recognized led the league, as no other program had more than seven honorees (Duke, NC State). One of the national leaders in academic and athletic success, Stanford previously had four CSC Academic All-District selections and Maxime Raynaud was the ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Stanford's nine honorees were required to hold a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average as well as a minimum 3.0 grade point average during the most recently completed term. Additionally, the ACC requires recipients to have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests during the season.
