STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford diver Jack Ryan was named the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Men’s Swimming and Diving Scholar-Athlete of the Year on Wednesday.
Also, Ryan is among 18 Cardinal named to the ACC All-Academic team for men's swimming and diving.
Ryan, a senior majoring in symbolic systems from Denver, Colorado, was the ACC 1-meter diving champion, coming from behind on his final dive to win. He also was fourth at 3-meter, and was named ACC Men’s Diver of the Year.
Ryan earned two first-team All-America honors with his performances at the NCAA Championships. Ryan placed second in the 1-meter with 417.45 points and was third in the 3-meter with 457.90.
At the NCAA Zone E Championships, Ryan won the 3-meter and was second at 1-meter. He won six Zone E titles during his collegiate career.
Ryan, the 2024 Pac-12 Men’s Diver of the Year, is a six-time All-American. He also owns three conference titles, including two in the Pac-12.
