STANFORD, Calif. — Four Stanford football games received kickoff times and network designations, as announced by the ACC and ESPN on Thursday morning.
The first three games of the 2025 season learned their kickoff times, including Stanford’s home opener on Sept. 13, as well as the Cardinal’s Reunion Homecoming game on Oct. 18.
Stanford begins the 2025 season in Week 0 at Hawai’i on Aug. 23, with an afternoon kickoff time of 4:30 pm PT/1:30 pm HT. The game will be nationally televised on CBS, one of four college football games played during Week 0 in 2025.
After an early Week 1 bye, Stanford will head back on the road for a road clash against BYU in Provo, Utah, on Sept. 6. That game will kick off at 8:15 pm MT/7:15 pm PT on ESPN, giving Stanford two nationally televised games out of the gates.
The Cardinal’s home opener takes place on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 pm PT against Boston College, televised on ACC Network. It marks the first matchup between these two as ACC rivals and the first time Stanford and Boston College have met since 2002. It also pits former NFL head coaches from the AFC South against one another as Frank Reich meets Bill O’Brien for the sixth time in their careers. Reich owns a 3-2 record as a head coach against O’Brien.
Also announced on Thursday is the kickoff time and network for Stanford’s Reunion Homecoming game against Florida State on Saturday, Oct. 18. The Cardinal and Seminoles will square off under the lights of Stanford Stadium at 7:30 pm PT on ESPN. It serves as the first matchup between these two programs.
