STANFORD, Calif. – No. 16 Stanford has landed seven on All-ACC teams, the conference announced today. River Mahler led the way with an appearance on the first team, while Kyra Chan, Alyssa Houston and Emily Jones earned second team honors. Jade Berry, Taryn Kern and Joie Economides picked up third team selections, with Economides also landing on the All-Freshman team.
Mahler earns First Team honors for the second time in her career, after being named to the All-Pac-12 first team as a freshman in 2023. Mahler’s .441 average is the second-best on the team and sixth-best in the ACC. Her 51 RBI are the third-most on the team, and her 10 home runs are tied for the fourth-most on the team.
Chan picks up all-conference honors for the second consecutive year, earning an All-Pac-12 third team selection last season. The junior is tied for the team lead in RBI with 57, a mark that’s also tied for the third-most in a season in program history. Chan posted a 20-game hitting streak this season, boasting a .414 batting average.
Houston earned second team honors after doubling her workload in the circle – 99.2 innings pitched after just 45.0 as a freshman last season. The sophomore owns a team-leading 3.24 ERA, and leads the ACC in strikeouts per seven innings (9.7).
Jones earns a spot on the second team after leading the Cardinal with a .446 batting average. The average is the fourth-best in the ACC, and 20th in the NCAA. Jones added the long ball to her game this season, hitting nine home runs after recording just two in her career prior to the start of 2025.
Berry lands on the third team, thanks to a career-best 57 RBI on the year. The total is tied with Chan for the most on the team and third-most in a season in program history. The sophomore has built on what was already a successful freshman season in 2024, upping her average (.263 to .349) and home run total (seven to 13).
In her first year on The Farm, Economides made it onto the third team as well as the All-Freshman team. The rookie slugger is third on the team in home runs (12) and OPS (1.202). Her 48 RBI are also the fourth-most on the team.
Finally, Kern finds herself on the third team after a historic power season in 2025. The junior has tied a single-season program record with 19 home runs, leading the team in runs scored (58) and OPS (1.362). Kern has now a three-time All-Conference selection: All-Big Ten first team at Indiana in 2023, as well as All-Pac-12 second team last season after transferring to Stanford.
