Ma Named to the Academic All-America First Team

Becomes third in program history to receive multiple, first-team Academic All-America honors

STANFORD, Calif. – For the second consecutive season, Connie Ma was named to the Academic All-America Division I first team as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), it was announced Tuesday.

Ma is the third in program history to receive multiple, first-team Academic All-America honors, joining Sandra Birch (1989, 1990, 1991) and Emily Arbuthnott (2019, 2020, 2021). Last season, she was also selected the CSC Women's Tennis Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year.

Ma had a remarkable senior campaign on The Farm. She was 29-5 this season, 17-1 in duals, and put together a career record of 131-28, including 68-14 in duals and 61-18 against ranked opponents. A three-time singles All-American, Ma also picked up the prestigious Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Award from the ITA in 2024.

Ma boasts a 3.75 cumulative GPA and is majoring in human biology.
