PALM DESERT, Calif. – Stanford men’s basketball is heading to Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert for the second-consecutive Feast Week, participating in the Acrisure Invitational from Nov. 27-28. The Cardinal opens the event against Minnesota at 6:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, and will face either Santa Clara or Saint Louis on Friday, Nov. 28 at either 4 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.
The Cardinal is 1-5 all-time against the Golden Gophers, last meeting in the 2012 Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas. The lone win in program history came in the championship game of the 2012 Postseason NIT in New York City, while the series dates back to the 1949-50 campaign.
Against its possible second-round opponents, Stanford is 52-28 against Santa Clara, including a last-second game winner from Jaylen Blakes last season, and 2-0 against Saint Louis, with the last matchup in 1973 in New York City.
The Acrisure Series will receive extensive national television coverage, with both TNT and CBS involved in showcasing the tournament. All games on Friday will air on truTV, while CBS Sports Network will broadcast a total of 11 games, including the final two matchups on Tuesday, as well as full-day coverage on both Wednesday and Thursday.
Tickets go on sale Friday, July 25 at 10 a.m. PT and are available online at Ticketmaster.com, the official ticketing provider of Acrisure Arena. Tickets are also available at the Ticketmaster Box Office at Acrisure Arena. Admission includes access to all games on that date.
The Cardinal finished the 2024-25 season, the first under Anne and Tony Joseph Director of Men’s Basketball Kyle Smith, at 21-14 overall, marking its most victories since 2014-15 while matching a program record with 17 wins at Maples Pavilion.
