Stanford Men’s Water Polo to Sell Tickets for MPSF Games

California, UCLA and USC games will require tickets for admission

Schedule Opens in a new window Stanford Ticketing Home

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford men’s water polo will be ticketing regular season MPSF games this season for the first time in program history. The Cardinal’s home games against No. 2 USC (Oct. 4), No. 1 UCLA (Oct. 5) and No. 3 California (Oct. 17) will require a ticket for entry.

“After the incredible success of last year’s NCAA Tournament here at Stanford and the excitement it generated around our program, we now join some of the most premier programs on campus in moving to ticketed games,” said Dunlevie Family director of Men’s Water Polo Brian Flacks. “This shift reinforces Stanford’s commitment to creating the best possible experience for both our student-athletes and the fans who come to support them.”

The Cardinal’s non-conference home slate against Pepperdine (Sept. 28), Long Beach State (Oct. 12), UC Davis (Oct. 18) and senior day against Pacific (Nov. 8) will remain free admission dates.

“We’re proud to take this step as a program and can’t wait to keep building something special here at Stanford and within our community,” said Flacks.

Tickets are on sale now at Tickets.GoStanford.com. Single game tickets will be available at $15 if purchased in advance online, or $20 at the box office on gameday. All three games are available in a pack for a total price of $30.

Stanford students will be able to enter free of charge by scanning their SUID cards at the gate.

Next up, the Card has one final road game before the team’s home opener at Avery on Sept. 28, heading to the south bay for a Friday bout with San Jose State at 12:00 p.m. PT.
