STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford sophomore Grigor Cholakyan will wrestle at the U23 World Championships, Friday and Saturday, in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Cholakyan will represent Armenia in Freestyle at 74 kg. This year marks the eighth edition of the U23 championships. More information can be found on uww.org.
Cholakyan is a returning NCAA qualifier for the Cardinal. He was 15-11 as a true freshman at 157 pounds, including 8-3 in duals in 2024-25.
