Aikey Garners Second Weekly Honor

Jasmine Aikey has been named ACC Offensive Player of the Week

STANFORD, Calif. – Having scored a pair of goals with two assists to help Stanford to an 8-2 victory at Cal that clinched the ACC regular-season title, senior Jasmine Aikey has been named ACC Offensive Player of the Week.

The conference weekly honor is the fifth in Aikey's career, including her second this season after previously earning a selection on October 14. She has also been named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week once during the 2022 and 2023 seasons before earning ACC Defensive Player of the Week on September 17, 2024.

Aikey scored in the 26th minute and and added a free-kick goal in the 61st to defeat Cal, with her first of the afternoon serving as the game-winner.

The native of Palo Alto, Calif. has contributed at least a point in 13 of the first 17 matches this season, has scored in five of her last eight, and has a goal in 10 of the 17 contests this season. She has managed three braces this season and owns six multi-goal games in her career.

Pitt's Abby Reisz was named Defensive Player of the Week.

By finishing atop the ACC standings, Stanford earned a first-round bye in the ACC Championship and will return to action on Thursday, November 6 when it meets the winner of Virginia and Florida State in a semifinal match from Cary, N.C.
