Lemkin Wins Platform Title in Texas

The reigning ACC champion posted a season-best to best the Texas Diving Invitational field

STANFORD, Calif. - Sophomore Anna Lemkin secured a platform dive title at the Texas Diving Invitational, capping off three days of competition for the Stanford divers.

The reigning ACC champion in the 10-meter, Lemkin paced the field with a 283.20 five-day score to win by over a seven-point margin. It was the 2024 NCA All-Americans' best platform effort of the season, topping her previous mark of 283.10 at the Arizona State/California tri-meet last month.

Freshman Molly Gray reached a pair of event finals over the weekend, advancing to the evening session in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. Gray opened the meet on Thursday with a 7th-place finish in the 3-meter with a 292.85, after posting the fourth-best score in the morning prelims. The Walnut Creek, Calif., native followed it up the next day with an 8th-place effort in the 1-meter dive, scoring a 268.55.

Emilie Moore was the only Stanford diver to compete in all three events in the meet, highlighted by a sixth-place finish in the platform dive with a 231.50 score. Moore narrowly missed out on the finals in both the 1-meter and the 3-meter, finishing 13th and 15th in those events, respectively.

Stanford closes out the fall slate next week, as the swimmers take on the Lone Star State for the Texas Swimming Invitational on November 19-22.
