Robert Wang, Grace Ker each advance to round of 32

FORT WORTH, Texas – Stanford wrapped up the first competition of the 2025-26 season today, with 11 Cardinal fencers appearing at the November NAC.

Robert Wang and Steven Yang each went a perfect 6-0 in pool play. Wang picked up a pair of victories in bracket play to advance to the round of 32 in the 201-person men's saber competition.

Freshman Grace Ker led the Cardinal women with seven victories, going 5-1 in pool play before advancing to the round of 32 in the 217-person women's saber competition.

Fellow freshmen Ruoxi Sun and Carson Bosita went 4-3 in women's foil and men's saber, respectively.

Senior Sanjay Kasi went 4-2, the lone men's foil representative for the Cardinal.

Next up for the Card is the Western Invitational this weekend, hosted by Air Force.
