ATLANTA - U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Emma Hayes has named the 26-player training camp roster for the two upcoming matches against 2025 UEFA Women’s Euro semifinalists Italy in Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. The two games will complete the USA’s 2025 schedule. Hayes will name 23 players for the game day rosters for each match.
The two matches mark the return of former Cardinal Naomi Girma to the U.S. lineup, while she will be joined by former Stanford teammates Kennedy Wesley and Catarina Macario.

In addition to the three called into USWNT camp, three former Cardinal will also represent their countries in upcoming competition. Kyra Carusa is set to play for Ireland, Amy Sayer will suit up for Australia and Nya Harrison will represent the Philippines.
Carusa and Ireland will take on Hungary in an International Friendly in Spain on November 29.
Harrison will train with the Philippines from November 23 to December 2 - the team’s final major preparation window before the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in December. The training camp will also serve as part of the buildup for the Filipinas’ campaign in the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup next march.
Sayer and Australia will take on New Zealand in a series of two matches; the first at polytec Stadium in Gosford on Friday, 28 November, before heading to Adelaide for the final match at Coopers Stadium on Tuesday 2 December. The two-match series will mark the CommBank Matildas’ final hit-out before the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026, a pivotal tournament that also doubles as Asia’s qualification pathway to the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ in Brazil in 2027.
