STILLWATER, Okla. - Tyler Knox and Aden Valencia secured wins, but No. 19 Stanford fell 33-7 at No. 5 Oklahoma State, Friday, at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Stanford (0-2) drops to 0-4 all-time against Oklahoma State (1-0). The Cowboys won eight of the 10 bouts, including five by bonus points.
Knox, ranked No. 6 nationally at 133 pounds, improved to 2-0 on the season with a come-from-behind 13-9 decision over No. 8 Richard Figueroa II.
Valencia, a redshirt freshman ranked No. 18 at 149 pounds, knocked off No. 2 Casey Swiderski with a dominating 13-3 major decision. Valencia registered three takedowns, an escape, two stalling points and riding time in the win.
Stanford remains on the road next week, traveling to California Baptist on Nov. 15.
