STANFORD, Calif. – Nunu Agara had 16 points and seven rebounds and Stanford collected its third win in seven days, beating visiting Cal Poly 90-55 on Sunday afternoon.

Agara was the leading scorer in another balanced attack for the Cardinal. Chloe Clardy had 14 points off the bench, Lara Somfai put together her second consecutive double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, Courtney Ogden chipped in 12 points and seven rebounds, and Hailee Swain had 12.

In its first three games of the season, Stanford has had at least five double-digit scorers in every one, including six against Santa Clara.

The Cardinal used a dominant first half to coast to victory. Swain and Agara each had 12 points in the first two quarters, with the freshman point guard going 6-of-7 from the floor. The Cardinal had a 13-0 run late in the second to balloon an 18-point lead to 31, 48-17. Agara had four points during the spurt, Clardy five, and Somfai four.

Swain scored eight of her 12 in the first quarter. Half of her 12 points came on fastbreaks.

Stanford was 33-of-65 from the floor (.508) and 17-of-20 at the line (.850). Through three games, the Cardinal is hitting on 81.0 percent of its free throws (47-of-58).

Talana Lepolo, who had a game-high 16 points against Santa Clara, scored just six on Sunday, but had a game-high four assists and zero turnovers. This season, she has 12 assists and has turned the ball over just three times. Somfai also had a career-high three steals and Ogden had a career-high two blocks.

Somfai is the first Stanford freshman with double-doubles in back-to-back games since Ashten Prechtel in 2019-20. Prechtel had 19 points and 14 rebounds at UCLA on Feb. 2 that season and then 10 points and 12 rebounds against UCLA on Feb. 7.

Vanessa McManus had a game-high 29 points for the Mustangs.

Stanford hits the road for the first time next weekend, beginning with a game at Washington State on Friday, Nov. 14 at 4 p.m. on ESPN+.
