KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior Jasmine Aikey is one of three finalists for the 2025 MAC Hermann Trophy, it was announced by United Soccer Coaches and the Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) on Wednesday.
The finalists were selected based on voting by NCAA Division I women’s soccer coaches.
Joining Aikey are Florida State junior forward Jordynn Dudley and University of Notre Dame sophomore forward Izzy Engle.
Aikey, the 2025 TopDrawerSoccer Player of the Year and United Soccer Coaches All-America first team selection, led the Cardinal in total points with 53, including a team-high 21 goals (seven game-winners) and 11 assists. The ACC-high 21 goals, third-most nationally this season, rank tied for fourth in a single season in program history, while her 53 points were the most in the nation this year and ranked fifth in Stanford history. Her point total is also the most by an ACC player since North Carolina’s Casey Nogueira registered 58 in 2008. The native of Palo Alto, Calif. contributed at least a point in 20 of the 25 matches this season, scored in 11 of her last 16, and managed a goal in 16 of the 25 contests overall – including five multi-goal games.
Dudley led the Seminoles to their second NCAA College Cup title in the past three years, recording 36 points. Florida State posted a 16-2-4 record.
Engle was the ACC Offensive Player of the Year after scoring 19 goals and 44 points, helping the Irish to a 15-4-3 record.
The MAC Hermann Trophy, the most coveted individual honor in NCAA Division I soccer, has been awarded annually since 1967.
A Cardinal player has claimed three of the last eight MAC Hermann trophies, with Andi Sullivan earning the award in 2017, followed by Catarina Macario becoming a back-to-back winner in 2018 and 2019. Kelley O'Hara was the first Stanford player to win the MAC Hermann Trophy at the conclusion of the 2009 season. O'Hara was followed by Christen Press (2010) and Teresa Noyola (2011) to bring Stanford's total to six winners.
The 2025 MAC Hermann Trophy banquet will be held at the historic Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis on Jan. 9, 2026, to formally announce this year’s winners.
