STANFORD, Calif. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) revealed its annual Men's Soccer Academic All-America awards on Tuesday morning, with three Cardinal earning First Team recognition.
Fletcher Bank, Zach Bohane, and Will Cleary were each named First Team CSC Academic All-Americans – giving Stanford the most First Team honors among any NCAA men's soccer program.
A two-time all-conference First Team selection, Bank started in each of his 20 appearances and recorded career-highs in goals (4), points (13), shots (41), and shots on goal (13). The Bakersfield, Calif., native has started every game over the past three seasons, and adds his first Academic All-America honor to a resume that includes All-ACC Academic Team (2024), Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll (2023), and CSC Academic All-Distict (2023).
Bohane was one of Stanford's leading scorers in 2025, finishing second in both goals (5) and points (13), while also pacing the Cardinal in shots (65), shots on goal (25), and game-winning goals (3). A MAC Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List member and All-ACC First Team Selection this season, the team captain earns his second All-America recognition after being named to the CSC Academic All-America Third Team in 2023.
Also donning the captain's armband, Cleary also anchored a Cardinal backline that tallied seven clean sheets and a 0.85 goals against average. The Windsor, Conn., native held a share of fourth on the team in both goals (4) and points (11), and guided the Cardinal to its fourth consecutive appearance in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. The honor is Cleary's first Academic All-America award, after being named CSC Academic All-District and Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll in 2023.
Bank, Bohane, and Cleary were joined by Palmer Bank, Rowan Schnebly, and Alfonso Tenconi-Gradillas as CSC All-District selections in late November.
