Five Place at CKLV

Stanford finished third as a team

LAS VEGAS - Led by Nico Provo, Jack Consiglio and Daniel Cardenas, five Cardinal reached the podium at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, Saturday, at the Westgate Resort and Casino.

Provo (125 pounds), Consiglio (141 pounds) and Cardenas (157 pounds) all placed third, while Aden Valencia (149 pounds) and Angelo Posada (197 pounds) both took fifth.

Stanford finished third as a team with 97.5 points. Iowa State won the team title, while Michigan was second.

Stanford will be back in action on Saturday, Dec. 20 at Journeymen Wrestling Duals in Nashville. The Cardinal will face North Dakota State and No. 1 Penn State.
