CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The ACC announced its 2025 All-ACC Academic Football Team on Friday afternoon, with Stanford featured prominently. 25 Cardinal student-athletes were named to the All-ACC Academic Team, the second most in the ACC, trailing only Duke (31).
Of the 25 Stanford honorees, nine made the list for the second season in a row: Fisher Anderson, Benji Blackburn, Zach Buckey, Ese Dubre, Aidan Flintoft, Micah Ford, Mitch Leigber, Charlie Symonds, and Tevarua Tafiti. Anderson, Ford, and Leigber were also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team earlier in January.
This year, the ACC removed graduate students from eligibility for the All-ACC Academic Team, meaning only undergraduates are eligible. Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a 3.0-grade point average for the previous three quarters and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career, while being enrolled at the institution for at least one year and being classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s athletic contests.
