Notables

  • Backed by its best-ever preseason poll ranking and for the fifth straight campaign, No. 2 Stanford opens its campaign at the OUTRIGGER Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic, hosted by the University of Hawai'i at Queen's Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. Stanford will meet six top-16 preseason-ranked programs at the event scheduled to run from Feb. 19-21–  host No. 16 Hawai’i, No. 4 USC, No. 1 UCLA, No. 7 LMU, No. 6 Texas and No. 9 California. There are no streaming options for this tournament but live stats for each matchup are available via Statbroadcast. 
  • The Cardinal’s future outlook is strong. In 2026, Stanford returns all but two members of its NCAA Championship lineup. Stanford’s youth-driven roster and stellar incoming recruiting class continue the program’s drive to compete and win a national title. 
  • Next up, the Cardinal opens its home slate at Stanford Beach Volleyball Stadium, welcoming four Northern California programs for its annual Battle of the Bay tournament. Stanford takes on USF and Santa Clara on Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., while battling Saint Mary's and UC Davis Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
