Flagstaff Bound for Diving Zones

Chance to qualify for the NCAA Championship on the line

  • 5 Stanford men’s diving begins NCAA postseason action with the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships on March 9-11.
  • Zone E is hosted by Northern Arizona University at the Wall Aquatics Center in Flagstaff, Ariz.
  • The Cardinal is sending all three of its divers to Arizona for competition. Misha Andriyuk and Gunnar Grubbs will compete in all three events (1-meter, 3-meter, platform), while Grant Schneider will compete in 3-meter and platform diving.
  • Andriyuk is the only Cardinal with past experience at the NCAA Diving Zones. As a freshman in 2025, Andriyuk won on the platform while finishing ninth in 1-meter and 14th in 3-meter.
  • With the 2026 ACC Championships in the rearview, Andriyuk will look to build off a strong finish to the week in Atlanta. He won the ACC Championship in platform diving, scoring 412.30 in the finals, while earning a spot in the 3-meter finals, where he ultimately finished eighth after posting a 407.40 in the prelims.
  • Gunnar Grubbs landed in the finals in platform diving at ACCs, his first finals appearance in his collegiate career. He finished fifth overall but scored 361.50 in the prelims, a career-high.
  • Grant Schneider posted a collegiate-best in the 3-meter prelims at ACCs, scoring 325.55 over six dives.
  • The 2026 NCAA men’s swimming and diving championships take place on March 25-28 at McAuley Aquatics Center on the campus of Georgia Tech.
