No. 10 Stanford Records Season-High Home Score Despite Loss to No. 5 UCLA

No. 10 Cardinal achieves season-high home score but falls to No. 5 Bruins 197.775-197.425 in front of a sold-out Maples Pavilion

STANFORD, Calif. – Behind a sold-out, record-setting crowd of 7,024, No. 10 Stanford posted its season-high home score of 197.425 in a dual-meet loss to No. 5 UCLA Saturday afternoon in Maples Pavilion.

No. 5 UCLA won the meet with a team total of 197.775, its best road score of the 2026 season.

The Bruins' Jordan Chiles won both the vault (9.900) and bars (10.000) titles, while UCLA’s Tiana Sumanasekera and Ciena Alipo split the beam event crown with matching totals of 9.950. Senior Anna Roberts split the floor title with the Bruins’ Mika Webster-Longin and Sumanasekera, each earning scores of 9.925.

Stanford started the day on vault with a 49.025 team total, led by freshman Summer Gronski’s 9.900 in the third spot of the lineup. Sophomore Ui Soma and senior Anna Roberts each added matching scores of 9.800, while sophomore Jaime Dugan posted a 9.775 in the second position. Redshirt freshman Levi Jung-Ruivivar and senior Taralyn Nguyen both earned totals of 9.750.

The Cardinal then moved to bars, its best event total of the night, matching its season-high rotation total of 49.600. Stanford was led by Roberts’ second 9.975 in so many meets in the fourth slot of the lineup, while both Jung-Ruivivar and anchor Soma recorded totals of 9.925, and junior Sienna Robinson added a 9.900 in the third spot. Freshman Ana Bărbosu matched her career-best score of 9.875 in the fifth spot.

Beam saw the Cardinal post a 49.400 team score, led by 9.900s from both Robinson and Bărbosu. Senior Claire Dean led off with a 9.875, and junior Temple Landry matched that score in the second position, while Roberts posted a 9.850 up fifth.

The night ended on floor, where Stanford also earned a 49.400 team total, highlighted by Roberts’ 9.925. Jung-Ruivivar led off with a 9.900, and Bărbosu anchored with the same score, while sophomore Alana Walker posted a 9.875 in the second position, and Robinson earned a 9.800 in the third spot of the lineup.

Up next, the Cardinal prepares for a two-meet weekend to close out the regular season. First, Stanford travels to No. 15 California to compete in a tri-meet with the Golden Bears and San Jose State Friday, March 13, at 7 p.m. The Cardinal then returns to The Farm for its Senior Day meet, taking on Boise State March 15 at 2 p.m.
