STANFORD, Calif. – For the second-straight season, Arianna Cao has been named ACC Women’s Foil Fencer of the Year. The Cardinal junior finished the season with an ACC individual championship, as well as a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Championships for her second All-America selection.
Cao finished the regular season 68-12, leading a women’s foil squad that went 18-7 on the year as a team. At ACC’s, the San Jose product went a perfect 9-0 to win her first ACC crown. The conference title is Cao’s second in her career, after winning the MPSF women’s foil competition in 2024.
At NCAA Western Regionals, Cao went 9-3 to finish fourth in the competition. Closing out the year at NCAAs, Cao went 13-10 to finish ninth in women’s foil for her second-straight All-America selection.
Cao finished the 2025-26 campaign 70-25 in individual bouts.
Cao’s growing career resume now features two ACC Fencer of the Year awards, two All-America selections, two conference titles, three USFCA All-Region selections and of course the 2025 NCAA Championship for women’s foil.
