Stanford closes the 2026 regular season this week, hosting Pacific on Wednesday before senior day on Friday against Sacramento State. The Card enters the week at 34-12 on the year and 18-6 in conference play, riding a 12-game winning streak.

The two games serve as the final tune-ups before the Cardinal heads to Virginia for the ACC Championship, which runs from May 6-9.


Season-Best Streak // The Cardinal is on a 12-game winning streak, a season-long hot streak.

  • In the span, the Cardinal is slashing .323/.431/.538 at the plate with a 2.10 ERA in the circle.

  • The junior has struck out 16 and allowed just 12 hits.

EJ on a Hot Streak // Emily Jones is on a tear in the month of April, hitting .438 in the month to pass Taryn Kern for the team lead with a .421 batting average on the season.

  • Jones leads the team with 21 hits in the month, scoring 21 runs and driving in four.
  • Jones has walked seven times and been hit by a pitch twice, giving her .526 OBP. The senior is also a perfect 7-for-7 in steal attempts in April, putting her at 16-for-16 on the season.
  • On the season, the senior leads the team in hits (56) and is second in runs scored (49).

Taryn Torching // Taryn Kern has been on a tear to start the season, doing it all for the Card in the leadoff spot.

  • Kern has posted a .400/.546/.948 slash line through 46 games, good for a staggering 1.495 OPS, leading the Cardinal in all but batting average.
  • The leadoff hitter leads the team in runs scored (63), home runs (18) and total bases (128).
  • The next-most total bases on the team is Kyra Chan with 92.
  • The senior earned the first ACC Player of the Week award of the season for her efforts.

Dominant Top of the Lineup Card // Kern, Jones and Chan have been a mainstay at the top of the Cardinal lineup, and have been massive contributors to the team's run production.

  • The trio is hitting a combined 165-for-407 for a .405 clip, scoring 155 of the team's 327 runs on the season.
  • Despite being atop the order, the trio has still driven in 96 runs on the year.
  • The three seniors are the top three on the team in batting average and runs scored.
