Greyserman Grabs All-America Honors

Cardinal senior ends career season with spot as All-American Honorable Mention

STANFORD, Calif. — Following a career-defining season, Stanford men’s golfer Dean Greyserman has been tabbed as an All-American Honorable Mention by both the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and Golfweek, both organizations announced on Wednesday. Greyserman becomes the fourth Cardinal in the last five years to be named to an All-America list by the GCAA and first since Michael Thorbjornsen and Karl Vilips were named All-America in 2024.

Having earned a nod on the GCAA All-West Region Team earlier this spring, Greyserman finished second on the Cardinal this season in scoring average with a career high 71.39 average while accruing a team-high six top-10 placements. Greyserman finished as Stanford’s No. 1 at the NCAA Championships placing tied for 6th as the Cardinal made the NCAA Match Play Quarterfinals for the first time since the 2019 title-winning season - solidifying the Cardinal’s spot in match play with a clinching birdie on hole 18 to break a four-team tie.

A native of Boca Raton, Fla., Greysmerman snagged his first collegiate win at The Western this season, shooting a career-low 62 (-8) during the final round to claim co-champion honors. Greyserman’s 62 is the second-lowest round by a Cardinal in program history while the senior became just the second golfer to shoot a 62 all-time. Also a stalwart in match play, Greyserman finished the season with a 4-2 record including wins in the ACC Tournament where he helped guide Stanford to a wire-to-wire win in stroke play before aiding the Cardinal with a 2-1 record in ACC Match Play as the Stanford finished runner’s-up in its second season in the conference. Greyserman - who sent Stanford to the ACC Championship with a 1Up win over Florida State - also piled wins in The Big Match v. Cal and The Vintage Club Shootout v. Texas A&M.

Having been in the lineup for all three stroke play wins this season - the most since the 2022-23 campaign - Greyserman earned 19/36 rounds at par or better including 10 such rounds in the 60s this season. Having earned all six of his career top-10 placements this season, Greyserman ends his Stnaofrd career with a 73.25 scoring average across 81 rounds while earning 8 top-20 placements during his time on The Farm.
