STANFORD, Calif. – After a strong season on the water, Brooke Ruszkiewicz of the lightweight rowing team has been named a CRCA/Pocock All-American.
Ruszkiewicz becomes Stanford’s first All-American since 2024, with the honor the first of Ruszkiewicz’s career. Also named a CRCA Scholar-Athlete on Friday, the Middleton, Wisconsin native rowed in all eight raced with the varsity eight, helping to lead the Cardinal to a fourth place team finish at the IRA National Championships and bronze in the varsity eight. She also helped Stanford to a bronze medal finish at Eastern Sprints, with Stanford ranked as high as No. 4 nationally, and rowed twice with the varsity four.
Stanford medaled in the varsity eight at IRAs for the 16th time in the last 17 seasons.
