STANFORD, Calif. – Following a standout senior season that saw her named the 2025 Hermann Trophy winner and TopDrawerSoccer Player of the Year, Jasmine Aikey has been named College Sports Communicators Overall Academic All-American of the Year (All Sports) for Division I.
The award recognizes the top student-athlete among all Division I Academic All-America® Team Members of the Year (across all sports, men's and women's).
Aikey becomes the third Stanford student-athlete to win the overall honor, joining football’s Tommy Vardell (1991-92) and women’s swimming’s Katie Ledecky (2017-18).
“Thank you to College Sports Communicators for naming me the Overall Division I Academic All-American of the Year," Aikey said. "I came to Stanford hoping to grow as both a student and an athlete, and what I found was a place that never asked me to choose between the two. I am grateful to my coaches, teammates, and professors who made both possible.”
Aikey, who signed a professional contract with the NWSL’s Denver Summit FC after earning her degree in computer science, was one of four finalists for the Honda Sport Award for Soccer and was named the Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for Division I women’s soccer after leading Stanford to a national championship berth and a third consecutive College Cup appearance in 2025.

A United Soccer Coaches All-America first-team selection, Aikey led the Cardinal with 53 points and an ACC-best 21 goals, while tallying 11 assists and seven game-winners. She also led Division I in points, ranked second nationally in game-winning goals, and finished third in goals. The All-ACC first-team selection tallied at least one point in 20 of her 25 matches as a senior, and had at least one goal in 16 of the 25 contests to go along with five multi-goal games.
Aikey’s 21 goals in 2025 ranked tied for fourth in a single season in program history, while her 53 points ranked fifth. Her point total was also the most by an ACC player since North Carolina’s Casey Nogueira registered 58 in 2008.
