STANFORD, Calif. – Paul A. Violich Director of Softball Jessica Allister has made an addition to the Cardinal’s coaching staff, bringing two-time NFCA All-Region pick Megan Delgadillo to The Farm as an assistant coach.
“We are thrilled to welcome Megan to Stanford and really excited about what she adds to our staff,” said Allister. “It was very clear in the interview process that Megan wants to be a college coach. I am looking forward to her beginning that coaching career here at Stanford.”
Delgadillo posted a standout playing career at Cal State Fullerton and Oklahoma State, finishing as the NCAA active career leader in games played (261), at-bats (858) and stolen bases (186).
The Riverside, Calif. product earned NFCA All-Region honors in her final two seasons, posting a second team nod in 2025 and first time in 2024. With the Titans, Delgadillo earned an All-Big West selection three times, including first team distinctions in 2022 and 2024.
In 2024, Delgadillo was the NFCA Golden Shoe recipient after finishing with an NCAA-best 44 stolen bases on 46 attempts.
Last season, Delgadillo was on the Cowgirl staff as a graduate assistant. Oklahoma State finished the season 41-17, falling on the road in Super Regionals to top-ranked Nebraska.
Delgadillo will work primarily with the outfielders and the short game, while spearheading the program’s on-field technology and assisting with recruiting.
Delgadillo replaces former Director of Recruiting and Technology Sara Groenewegen on the Cardinal staff. Groenewegen took an assistant position at Nevada after three years on The Farm.
