Junior midfielder Charlotte Kohler has been named ACC co-Offensive Player of the Week

STANFORD, Calif. – Having guided Stanford to a 2-0 week that included a 2-0 shutout of No. 14 Georgetown on Thursday and a 6-0 victory over UC Irvine on Sunday, junior midfielder Charlotte Kohler has been named ACC co-Offensive Player of the Week.

The conference weekly honor is the first of Kohler’s career, and the second for Stanford this season after London Young earned Freshman of the Week on August 18 following the first week of competition.

Kohler assisted on the game-winner on Thursday before adding an insurance goal to seal the 2-0 victory. She added her second assist of the week on Stanford's first goal of Sunday's victory - which also proved to be the game-winner.

Running her goal streak to three straight matches to start the season, Kohler scored in the 60th minute on Sunday. With two goals and two assists last week, Kohler has contributed on five of Stanford’s nine goals this season (3 goals, 2 assists).
