Stanford heads to Stockton for a top-10 bout with Pacific

STANFORD, Calif. - No. 3 Stanford (4-0) puts an undefeated streak to the test this weekend, heading to Stockton to take on No. 10 Pacific on Sunday.

The Cardinal has been led by a strong offensive attack to start the year, scoring 14 or more in all four games of the season.


NON-CON HOT STREAK » The Cardinal has been on a roll against opponents outside of the MPSF West, winning each of the last 46 games against teams other than UCLA, USC and California.

NEWCOMER INTRODUCTIONS » The Card's two transfers have showed out to start the season, with Bernardo Herzer making 29 saves in three games. In the first four games of the season, James Rozolis-Hill has tied for the team lead with 11 goals.

DYNAMIC DUO » The returning duo of Botond Balogh and Ben Forer was one of the best goal-producing pair in the MPSF last year – joining to post 230 points (136 goals, 94 assists). Forer's 48 assists were second-best in the MPSF West. In 2026, the duo has combined for 16 goals and 11 assists.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK » Freshman Dimitris Chatzis earned the Cardinal's first weekly award of the season, earning MPSF West Newcomer of the Year honors on Monday. Chatzis scored eight goals and assisted once in last weekend's two games.
