STANFORD, Calif. – Connor Ohl has earned MPSF Newcomer of the Week honors for the first time in his young career, the conference announced today. Ohl paced the Cardinal with four goals in the win over No. 17 Santa Clara on Saturday.
Ohl's four goals came on just four shots, as the freshman became the sixth different Stanford player to score four goals in a game this season.
The win over the Broncos also marked 51-straight wins against foes outside the MPSF West, dating back to 2023.
Ohl becomes the Cardinal's second MPSF Newcomer of the Week recipient, after Dimitris Chatzis earned the nod on September 7.
Ohl and the top-ranked Card are back in action this weekend, heading across the bay to take on No. 4 California on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. PT. The rivalry game will be streamed live on Overnght.
