Grumet Qualifies for NCAA Singles Championship

Grumet was a co-champion of the ITA Northwest Regional

Grumet posted wins on five consecutive days to reach the tournament final, which was canceled to leave him as a co-champion with Cal’s Lenn Luemkemann.

He won all 10 sets throughout his five matches, defeating opponents from Saint Mary’s, Portland, Washington and Santa Clara to reach the quarterfinals.

As multiple Stanford players saw success in the tournament, Grumet punched his ticket to the NCAA Championships with a win over his teammate, fellow freshman Ronit Karki, in the semifinals, 6-3, 7-5.

The NCAA Singles Championships are set for Nov. 17-22 in Athens, Georgia.

Warren Named Jason Witten Collegiate Man Of The Year Semifinalist

Warren is one of 20 semifinalists for college football's first award to focus primarily on a player’s leadership, both on and off the field

Since joining Stanford, Warren has been one of the best in the league when it comes to taking care of the ball. Most notably, Warren began the season with 167 pass attempts before throwing his first interception. Warren leads the ACC in passing attempts (234) and has thrown just two interceptions.

Beyond football, Warren has become a passionate advocate for cancer patients, building lasting relationships with young patients and their families through regular hospital visits. He has continued this work at Stanford by organizing visits to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, using his personal experience to encourage and support children facing serious health challenges.

Three finalists will be named for the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award on Tuesday, December 15. The winner will be announced at the award ceremony at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on March 11, 2027.
