STANFORD, Calif. — A pair of former Cardinal from the NFC West found the end zone in Week 4 of the NFL season, as the first month of the league’s 2026 campaign came to a close. Christian McCaffrey’s San Francisco 49ers are 4-0, one of the three teams unbeaten heading into the second week of October. McCaffrey also has four rushing touchdowns, tied for fifth among NFL running backs.
Below is a breakdown of each performance by a former Cardinal in Week 4:
Chicago Bears 23, New York Jets 12
- Sam Roush (CHI): Played 27 total snaps and received one reception for eight yards, his third consecutive game with a reception.
- Harrison Phillips (NYJ): Started on the defensive line and played 52 snaps, recording seven tackles and one quarterback hit…second-most tackles as a Jet, and the most snaps he’s played in a game since his trade to New York.
Jacksonville Jaguars 22, Cincinnati Bengals 17
- Walker Little (JAX): On the field for four special teams snaps, part of a unit that made three successful field goals and one extra point.
New York Giants 36, Arizona Cardinals 24
- Elijah Higgins (ARI): Caught both of his targets for 19 yards…opened the scoring in the second half with a two-yard touchdown reception, putting Arizona in front at the time…fourth touchdown of his career and his first since Week 5 of the 2024 season…through four weeks, is the highest-graded tight end in the NFL, per PFF.
- Michael Wilson (ARI): Paced the Cardinals in receiving with a seven-catch, 95-yard performance…most receiving yards he’s had in a game this season.
- Simi Fehoko (ARI): Played 19 special teams snaps, recording one tackle.

Los Angeles Rams 24, Philadelphia Eagles 20
- Zach Ertz (PHI): Played 13 snaps at tight end, recording two catches for 13 yards on four targets.
Baltimore Ravens 24, Tennessee Titans 18
- Elic Ayomanor (TEN): Had just one reception but finished second on the Titans in receiving yards, hauling in a 22-yard strike.
- Solomon Thomas (TEN): On the field for just 13 snaps but recorded three tackles and one quarterback hurry.
Dallas Cowboys 34, Houston Texans 30
- Dalton Schultz (HOU): Quiet game for the star tight end, catching just two passes for nine yards.
- Collin Wright (HOU): Made his NFL debut, appearing on 11 special teams snaps… became the 274th former Stanford player to appear in an NFL or AFL game.
Kansas City Chiefs 30, Las Vegas Raiders 27
- Thomas Booker IV (LV): Played 16 snaps and recorded three tackles.
San Francisco 49ers 24, Denver Broncos 14
- Christian McCaffrey (SF): Carried the ball 15 times for 52 yards with a touchdown and added three receptions for 18 yards…his one-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter was his fourth rushing touchdown of the season, tied for fifth in the NFL among running backs.

Seattle Seahawks 30, Los Angeles Chargers 23
- Kendall Williamson (LAC): Played 24 special teams snaps and recorded one tackle.
Carolina Panthers 32, Detroit Lions 26
- Bobby Okereke (CAR): Drew his third start of the season and recorded seven tackles, with four solo tackles.
- Brycen Tremayne (CAR): Hauled in two of his three targets for 32 yards as one of the starting wide receivers for the Panthers…his 69 offensive snaps were the most in a game in his NFL career.
Atlanta Falcons 45, New Orleans Saints 24
- Austin Hooper (ATL): One of the two starting tight ends for the Falcons…caught his only pass of the game for nine yards, occurring on the second play of the game.
- Jake Bailey (ATL): Was not needed often on Monday night, punting twice for 72 yards.
- Justin Reid (NO): Started at safety and played every snap on defense, recording four tackles.
