Hannah Burroughs Season 2010-11

2010-11 (Senior): Skippered three regattas in the fall and raced once in April ... part of the Cardinal's 13^th-place finish at the Coed Nationals ... named an All-American by the Inter Collegiate Sailing Association ... had her best finish, fifth, at the PCC Women's Singlehanded ... raced three times in the B Division, placing seventh overall at both the Navy Fall Women's and the Victorian Coffee Urn.

2009-10 (Junior): All-Pacific Coast College Sailing Conference team as a skipper for the women's team for the second-straight year... named second team Academic All-ICSA... named PCCSC Sailor of the Week on the women's side after the top women's finish at the Wenner Invite in January, 2010... skippered 12 regattas overall... won the PCC Fall Women's Championship with crew Megan Grove and the fourth North Sectional in February... finished in the top-10 in all but three regattas... part of winning team that helped crew the team to PCCSC title and a 16-1 finish... team finished ninth at nationals following 7-4 record... part of B Division squad at Women's Nationals that had an overall 13th place finish.

2008-09 (Sophomore): All-Pacific Coast College Sailing Conference team as a skipper for the women's team ... along with Catherine Cu, named women's sailors of the week for their outstanding performance in A division at the North 1 and 2 Regattas in Monterey Bay. The duo finished third and first in their division in the two distinct events... won the PCCSC Women's title in Santa Barbara, as a part of the A Division... part of seventh place finish at team nationals as a member of the crew... B Division skipper at national women's championship, finishing 12th in San Francisco... sixth place finisher at the coed semifinals out of Boston... part of winning Big Sail team during Big Game Week... won the PCCSC Women's Fall Championship, skippering the B Division... seventh at the Navy Fall Intersectional, sailing in the B Division.

2007-08 (Freshman): Won the Bryson Women's Regatta asa part of the B Division and was second at theAtlantic Coast Freshman Regatta, sailing in the B Division... 13th in the Hoyt Trophy (A Division).

Prior to Stanford: Awarded varsity letter twice as a member of St. George's School varsity sailing team ... contributed to high school's impressive results: First, Mark Trophy (NE Team Race Champs) ... first, Women's RI state championship 2005, 2007 ... second, O'Day Trophy 2007 (NE Fleet Racing Championship) ... first, Coed RI State Championship, 2007 ... 2007 Leslie Bowl winner for St. George's (best crew).

Cardinal Catalogue: Majoring in atmosphere / engery engineering ... plays the trombone and can often be found listening to classic rock or jazz on her iPod while studying at her favorite study spot, the Bing Wing in Green Library ... older brother, Nicholas, was commodore and practice captain for the Princeton sailing team ... moved on to junior sailing with the Vineyard Haven Yacht Club and added in high school sailing at St. George's School.
