AT STANFORD: Dependable player who will provide depth in the secondary...also will play a key role on Stanford's special teams units.

2009 (JUNIOR): Appeared in 10 games and made one start (at Oregon State)...finished with 10 tackles on the year, including five solo efforts...had a season high three tackles at USC and vs. Oklahoma in the Sun Bowl.

2008 (SOPHOMORE): Started the first four games of the season at free safety before giving way to Sean Wiser...appeared in nine games and finished with 26 total tackles, including 15 solo efforts, one pass breakup and one forced fumble...came up with the game-saving play in the season-opener against Oregon State...laid a hit on OSU's Darrell Catchings at the 1-yard line, forcing a fumble through the end zone resulting in a touchback and preserving Stanford's 36-28 victory...broke his right foot against Oregon and was lost for the final two games against USC and California.

2007 (FRESHMAN): Made an immediate impact in his first season...played in all 12 games and finished with 35 tackles, including 21 solo efforts...also was credited with one pass breakup...came in as the team's third option at safety but saw increased playing time as the season progressed...led the team with 11 total tackles at Washington State, including six solo efforts.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Graduated from The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, Texas ...earned first team all-state honors as a defensive back as a senior...two-time first team all-county and all-district selection...named to the All-Greater Houston team and was a candidate for Houston's high school player of the year honors...three-year starter and team captain...recorded 99 tackles, four forced fumbles and one interception as a senior...also had 139 yards on 18 rushes and three touchdowns as a running back...finished with 89 tackles, three forced fumbles, five tackles-for-loss and one interception as a junior...member of the all-state academic team...National Honor Society member...appeared on ESPNU's Summer House from July-August, 2007, on a show that brought together six of the nation's top incoming college freshmen to spend one week living together in Jersey City, N.J. ...majoring in science, technology and society.
