International Competition: Placed fourth in the 400 freestyle (4:12.62) and second in the 800 freestyle (8:38.71) in the Santa Clara International Invite...placed fifth in the 800 and 400 freestyles at the Los Angeles Grand Prix...placed fifth in the 800 freestyle (8:38.59) at the ConcocoPhillips National Championships...won four gold medals at the 2008 U.S. Open (400, 800, 1500 and 800 freestyle relay)... placed fifth in the 400 free and sixth in the 800 at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials... won a bronze medal in the 1800 and 1500 freestyles at the 2007 World University Games.... won a silver medal in the 800 at the 2006 National Championships... also swam at the 2005 World Championships, placing 16th in the 400 after placing 16th at the U.S. Trials... was a co-captain for the 2004 U.S. Junior National team in 2004.

Stanford in 2010-11 (Senior): Named the Pac-10's Scholar Athlete of the Year for highest GPA by a senior athlete in swimming... ranked No. 23 nationally in the 500 free, No. 5 in the 1000 free and No. 8 in the 1650 free... finished 22nd in the 1650 free in her final collegiate event for the fourth place Cardinal with a time of 16:10.92... was also 32nd in the 500 free as the top Stanford finisher in that event at NCAAs... at Pac-10s, was the runner-up in the 1650 free (16:00.62) with the third-fastest time in school-history and fourth in the 500 free (4:41.09)... won the 1000 free over Cal and was second in the 500 free in her final dual meet of her career.. set a Long Beach Arena Invite meet record with a time of 16:08.34 in the 1650 free in the fall... academic All-Pac-10.

Stanford in 2009-2010 (Junior): Earned All-American Honors in the 500 freestyle with a 16th place finish... placed 23rd in the 1650 freestyle at the NCAA Championships...placed third in the 500 freestyle at the Pac-10 Championships with a time of 4:41.92 as well as fourth in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 16:10.32...won the 500 freestyle against USC, Arizona, and against UCLA...won the 1650 freestyle in the Toshiba Classic with a time of 16:12.55 and set a meet record in the 500 freestyle (4:41.30).

University of Georgia in 2007 to 2009 (Freshman and Sophomore): Swam two seasons at the University of Georgia, earning All-America honors in the 1650 and 500 freestyles as a freshman... left the Bulldogs with the fourth-fastest time in school history in the 1000 and 1650 freestyle... finished third in the 1650 freestyle at the 2008 NCAAs and ninth in the 500 free... also swam in the 200 free in the 2008 NCAAs... after her freshman yeah had the second fastest 1650 and 1000 times and fifth-best 500 free time in Georgia school-history... during her sophomore season swam at the NCAAs in the 1650, where she was 17th, and also swam in the 200.

High School, Club and Personal Data: Attended Westlake HS and swam for four years for Longhorn Aquatics... parents are Steve and Betsy... has one older brother, Chris... majoring in Spanish.
