Mackenzie Stein Season 2011-12

Best Times: 500 Free (4:46.29, 2012), 1650 Free (16:27.09, 2012)

2011-12 (Freshman): Finished fourth in the 1650 free at Pac-12 (16:27.09), the top Cardinal finisher... also tenth in the 500 free (4:46.29)... swam second to teammate Andie Taylor in a dual with Arizona in the 1000 free (10:06.27)... against Pacific, was second to teammate Maya DiRado in the 1000 free (10:14.47).... swam fourth in the 200-yard fly in the tri-meet with Michigan and Florida in the fall.

High School, Club and Personal Data: Swam varsity for Green Mountain High earning all-state in the 200 IM and 100 fly... also set the school-record in both events... swam for the University of Denver Swim Club from 2009 to 2011 and was a part of the Foothills Swim Team from 2007 to 2009... daughter of Tim and Jenny Stein... mother, Jenny, swam at Stanford and aunt, Susan Rapp is a member of the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame and was an Olympian in 1980, 1984 and 1988... oldest of three children, joining siblings Derek and Cassidy.
