Redwood Shores, CA - On Saturday, April 13th, the Cardinal Men raced the University of California. In perfect racing conditions, the Golden Bears swept all three races. The Cardinal continued to show its growth as the margin for each of the California victories was smaller than in past years.
The Varsity 8 race kicked things off with a six-second improvement over last year's difference in the winning times. In the Olympian laden California eight, the crew raced to a near course record. The highlight race of the day was the Stanford novice eight. The crew managed to cut considerable time off of the margin that the crews established at the San Diego Crew Classic.
The Cardinal next races Oregon State and Wisconsin on April 20th and 21st at 9 AM on the Redwood Shores racecourse.
Varsity Eight - California 5:40.28, Stanford 5:56.19.
Junior Varsity Eight - California A 5:46.03, California B 6:00.14, Stanford 6:15.14.
