The Cardinal holds a 1283.75 - 908.5 advantage over Ohio State.

Cleveland, Ohio - Eight-time champion Stanford University has increased its lead as the spring championship season begins in the NACDA Directors' Cup Division I standings. The Cardinal now holds a 1283.75 to 908.5 advantage over second place Ohio State.
Stanford scored in three of the four spring sports contested thus far, placing second in women's tennis, third in men's tennis and 16th in women's golf to record 1,283.75 points, 375.25 points ahead of the nearest competition. The Cardinal have now scored in 10 women and eight men's sports. Ohio State moved into second with 908.5 points based on a fourth place finish in women's golf, fifth in women's lacrosse, ninth in men's tennis and 33rd in women's tennis.
Penn State is in third place with 905 points; followed by Michigan, in fourth with 892.5 points; and Texas, fifth with 842.5 points.
This is the first set of spring standings and includes the sports of women's golf and lacrosse and women and men's tennis. Winning national championships were Southern California in women's golf, Princeton in women's lacrosse, Florida in women's tennis and Illinois in men's tennis.
The NACDA Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of the Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institutions finish in up to 20 sports 00 10 women's and 10 men's. Each national champion receives 100 points.
