Cherry Hill, NJ - The Stanford men's varsity eight defeated traditional Ivy League standouts Princeton, Yale and Penn in its final to finish ranked 14th overall at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association's National Championship Regatta on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, NJ, May 31.
The future of Stanford rowing was buoyed by the strong end-of-season performance by thesecond varsity eight earning it the No. 6 National ranking. This finish marked the first Cardinal eight Grand Final appearance in over four decades.
