Recreation

Stanford University's Department of Recreation is currently seeking highly organized and self-motivated applicants for intern positions for the Winter/Spring Quarters of 2005. Successful candidates will assist with the daily administration and supervision of Stanford's recreational strength training facilities as well as develop programs. Successful candidates must be capable of accepting responsibility and accomplishing goals with minimum supervision. Additional responsibilities include weight room supervision, daily upkeep, and maintenance of equipment, and any other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager. The intern can expect to work full time for the duration of the 22-week internship and must be available to work weekends.

Internship Dates: January 3 - June 17, 2005

Compensation: Details will be discussed upon review of application

Qualifications:

A strong desire to pursue a career in the Recreation field is required. Applicants must be working towards completion of a degree and require an internship to fulfill graduation requirements. Interns may not take classes or work any jobs outside of Stanford Strength & Conditioning Dept.
