The Stanford women's varsity eight is back in the top twenty rankingat #15 for the first time since March 31. The Cardinal received thisranking based on their strong performance at the Pac-10Championship's where they defeated then #12 Washington StateUniversity and finished fourth in the grand final. Despite theirlate season surge, the Cardinal did not receive an at-large bid tothe NCAA Championship's held May 28-30 on Lake Natoma in RanchoCordova, CA. Bids are given to the top 12 teams in the country andfour at-large varsity eights and is based on late season performanceand strength of racing throughout the year.
The Cardinal Women host their annual end-of-the-year awards banquettonight at the Morrison Boathouse.
