The Stanford Women's Crew will travel to Rancho Cordova this weekend to compete in the Pac-10 Conference Championship. This event is held on Lake Natoma and will determine which teams will be invited to the NCAA Championship from the west region. Traditionally the top three teams from the west region have been invited to the NCAA's. Stanford is currently ranked third as a team in the west region. Team rank is determined by the performance of the first varsity eight, second varsity eight and varsity four.
In the first varsity event #10 Stanford is seeded second to #2 California. There are thirteen entries in this event featuring #12 Washington, #13 USC, #18 UCLA, and #19 WSU. The Stanford second varsity is seeded fourth in their event and the varsity four is seeded seventh.
