Sophomore Tabitha Yim (Irvine, CA/Northwood) of the Stanford Women's Gymnastics Team was selected as the Stanford/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of April 18-April 24.
Yim gained three First Team All-American honors and advanced to the finals on Bars and Floor Exercise at last week's NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships at Oregon State. Yim finished fourth in Session II and eighth overall in the finals of the All-Around with a score of 39.375. She also finished in a three-way tie for second place to gain First Team All-American honors in the prelims on Bars with a score of 9.900. Yim earned First Team All-American honors on Floor Exercise with a second place finish in Session II and fourth place overall with a score of 9.900 in the prelims. In just two seasons on The Farm, Yim has earned seven All-American honors.
This is Yim's first Stanford/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor.
