The Stanford Department of Athletics is co-sponsoring "Title IX Today,Title IX Tomorrow," a one-day conference on April 28 hosted by theStanford Center on Ethics. The event will feature an outstanding roster of panelists and speakers from across the country, discussing gender equity in college athletics and beyond. Those scheduled to participate include current and former Stanford affiliates, Bob Bowlsby, Dick Gould, Tara VanDerveer, and Ted Leland.
Following the conference, the Aurora Forum at Stanford will present"Title IX at 35:A Conversation with Billie Jean King," a one-on-oneinterview in Maples Pavilion with the athletic pioneer and LaDoris Cordell, Title IX Compliance Officer and Special Counselor to the President for Campus Relations at Stanford.
