Series Notes: Stanford and Pacific are currently playing their first full-blown three-game series since the Cardinal swept a three-game series way back February 19-20, 1983. The two clubs had not met for five seasons from 2000-04 before resuming play against each other in 2005. Stanford won two-of-three over the Tigers in 2005 and then took both meetings in 2006, before the clubs have split their first two games in 2007. Both of Pacific's wins since the teams begin playing have come at Sunken Diamond. The clubs have played just three times in Stockton since the last Stanford road loss at Pacific when the Cardinal dropped a 10-2 decision on February 28, 1995.
