Stanford, Calif. - The No. 3 Stanford baseball team (25-14-2, 10-5) will once again hit the road and will travel to UC Davis (26-15, 11-4), looking to break their two-game losing streak The Cardinal is set face on Wednesday, Apr. 30 at 2:30 p.m. at Dobbins Field on the campus of UC Davis. Starting pitchers on both sides are TBA.

Stanford is coming off a 10-9 loss at Santa Clara on Monday night at Stephen Schott stadium. Junior Cord Phelps led the way for the Cardinal by going 4-5 and hit his eighth home run of the season. This was the second straight Monday night in which the Cardinal engaged in a high scoring with the Broncos after winning the first meeting 13-6.

The Aggies come into tomorrow's matchup having dropped four of their last five, and fell at Cal State Fullerton last Sunday by an 8-5 score. UC Davis is led by sophomore Ty Kelly, who comes into tomorrow's game with a team-leading .422 batting average and .584 slugging percentage. The Aggies also boast junior catcher Jake Jefferies, who comes into the game hitting .397 and leads the team with 47 RBI's. He has also started every game for UC Davis, the only player for them to do so.

The last time these two teams met was less than a month ago on April 9th when UC Davis outlasted Stanford 9-8 earlier this season at Sunken Diamond. The Cardinal is 41-10 all-time against UC Davis.

Stanford will return home after the match in Davis and will play a pair against the San Jose State Spartans. He first game is set for a 1:00 p.m. start on Saturday, May 3 at Klein Field at Sunken Diamond. The Cardinal will travel to Municipal Stadium for the second game of the series and first pitch of that game is also scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
