Stanford center Jayne Appel, one day after being named the Berkeley Regional MVP behind a school-record 46-point performance in the 74-53 victory over Iowa State that sent Stanford to its eighth Final Four, will appear live on a pair of cross-talks Tuesday night.
Appel will join NBC11 sports anchor Raj Mathai at 6:45 p.m. before joining KRON 4 sports anchor Gary Radnich at approximately 6:51 p.m.
This past weekend, Appel averaged 35.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.00 blocked per game while leading Stanford to victories over Ohio State and Iowa State at the Berkeley Regional.
Stanford will open play at the Final Four Sunday, April 5, at 4 p.m. PT against the winner of tonight's Arizona State-Connecticut regional final in Trenton, N.J.
